The Kapsen IceMax RW506 is a touring winter tire for passenger cars, with select sizes also available for SUVs and highway use. A directional tread, large gripping elements and a silica-based winter compound deliver dependable performance on snow, ice and cold pavement. Tyres of this model may be either studded or non-studded – whether a specific tyre is studded is shown in its name and technical specifications. Wide grooves push water and slush from the contact patch to reduce hydroplaning, and the design aims for even wear across the lifetime of the tire.
