iON i*cept SUV IW01A
Hankook iON i*cept SUV (IW01A) is a winter tyre developed for electric and plug-in hybrid SUVs and crossovers. Its directional V-shaped tread, with 2D sipes in the centre and 3D sipes in the surrounding blocks, builds a dense set of biting edges for snow and winter road surfaces, while Grip Boost Technology raises cornering stiffness to cope with the weight and instant torque of an EV. The silica-rich ProDurable compound stays flexible in the cold, and Opti Cure curing together with an aerodynamic profile keeps rolling resistance low to protect driving range. Selected sizes carry Sound Absorber foam and an MFS rim protector. The tyre is marked 3PMSF and M+S and is available from 17 to 22 inches.

The EU Tyre Label provides standardized information about fuel efficiency, wet grip, and external rolling noise of tyres.
- Fuel efficiency – rated A (best) to E (worst). Better rated tyres reduce fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions.
- Wet grip – rated A (best) to E (worst). Better wet grip means shorter braking distance on wet roads.
- Noise level – external rolling noise in decibels (dB). Class A is quietest, C is loudest.
