The Haida HD677 is a touring winter tire for passenger cars and SUVs, with a directional tread featuring deep V-shaped 3D grooves, a dense network of sipes and a winter-specific rubber compound. The directional pattern removes water and slush from the contact patch to limit hydroplaning. Tyres of this model may be either studded or non-studded – whether a specific tyre is studded is shown in its name and technical specifications. The siping creates many biting edges for stronger grip on snow and ice.
