The Gislaved Nord*Frost Van 2 (alternate spelling) is the same second-generation winter tire for vans and SUVs as the Nord*Frost Van 2, with an aggressive tread, innovative snow catchers and improved cut and puncture resistance for fleet kilometres in extreme winter conditions. In the studded version, the updated ice reservoir and longer trailing edges of the studs help shorten braking distances on icy roads. Tyres of this model may be either studded or non-studded – whether a specific tyre is studded is shown in its name and technical specifications.
