Medium classHankook iON i*cept SUV (IW01A) is a winter tyre developed for electric and plug-in hybrid SUVs and crossovers. Its directional V-shaped tread, with 2D sipes in the centre and 3D sipes in the surrounding blocks, builds a dense set of biting edges for snow and winter road surfaces, while Grip Boost Technology raises cornering stiffness to cope with the weight and instant torque of an EV. The silica-rich ProDurable compound stays flexible in the cold, and Opti Cure curing together with an aerodynamic profile keeps rolling resistance low to protect driving range. Selected sizes carry Sound Absorber foam and an MFS rim protector. The tyre is marked 3PMSF and M+S and is available from 17 to 22 inches.
