Continental VanContact Ice — a studded winter tyre for minibuses and light commercial vehicles. The hardened steel studs are anchored in the rubber compound itself so fewer of them are shed, and the Ramp Ice Reservoir hollow collects the ice torn off the road to keep each stud clean. The Nordic Matrix compound blends silica, oil and carbon black; rims 15–17 inches.
