The Avon ZX7 is an ultra-high performance summer tire developed for medium and large SUVs. It features an asymmetric tread pattern engineered to handle the weight of larger vehicles, with wide circumferential grooves that efficiently clear water from the contact patch. 3D sipes provide enhanced wet grip while controlling heat generation in dry conditions, helping the tire achieve an "A" rating for wet grip on the EU label.

The EU Tyre Label provides standardized information about fuel efficiency, wet grip, and external rolling noise of tyres.
- Fuel efficiency – rated A (best) to E (worst). Better rated tyres reduce fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions.
- Wet grip – rated A (best) to E (worst). Better wet grip means shorter braking distance on wet roads.
- Noise level – external rolling noise in decibels (dB). Class A is quietest, C is loudest.
