BLIZZAK ICE

Bridgestone Blizzak Nordic - a product designed to surpass the proven qualities of its predecessor WS-50+. After evaluating test results, it became clear that Bridgestone specialists succeeded. They significantly improved 11 key predecessor characteristics in all winter conditions, marking a major step forward in soft compound tire manufacturing.

The V-shaped tread pattern creates tires that excellently evacuate wet snow and water, protecting against aquaplaning. The continuous central tread with large edge blocks provides top-class stability and driving precision, while blocks positioned at different angles greatly improve braking and traction on snow-covered roads.

The optimized tread pattern ensures even pressure distribution and helps sipes spread effectively across the entire tread surface, providing significantly better grip on ice and packed snow, while wider tread blocks ensure excellent traction on both clean asphalt and in difficult winter conditions. The use of latest technologies made this tire with aggressive tread pattern significantly quieter than its predecessor.

EU Energy Label

The EU Tyre Label provides standardized information about fuel efficiency, wet grip, and external rolling noise of tyres.

  • Fuel efficiency – rated A (best) to E (worst). Better rated tyres reduce fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions.
  • Wet grip – rated A (best) to E (worst). Better wet grip means shorter braking distance on wet roads.
  • Noise level – external rolling noise in decibels (dB). Class A is quietest, C is loudest.

Based on EU Regulation 2020/740, effective from May 2021. View full details on EPREL →
